1. What is Cornhole?
It's the greatest game on the Planet of course!! Basically it's a pretty simple game that anyone can play. It consist of 2 boards and 8 bags. Players throw the bags at the boards aiming for a 6" hole, but can also score points by landing on the surface. For more information about cornhole, please visit our What is Cornhole page.
2. What are the rules to play Cornhole?
There are variations of the rules. The American Cornhole Organization has standardized a set of rules for play that is easy to understand and is used for tournament play. The American Cornhole League (ACL) has made many changes to the rules geared towards the Advanced/Pro level player. 3. Why should I purchase from Cornhole America?
Our boards are not the cheapest! With a good cornhole board, you get what you pay for. We use industry standard Baltic birch in the construction, and make our boards to the ACL, ACO and USAC standards. Our UV digital printing process is absolutely amazing! Our printer prints directly to the wood surface of your new boards. The UV inks are cured immediately after applied. The image possibilities are endless, as we have been customizing designs for our customers since day 1.
We don't only make amazing boards, bags and cornhole equipment. We also are very active in our local communities running cornhole fundraisers, youth events, company team building events, and of course just the occasional festival cornhole events. We have even partnered with NFL teams for fundraisers. Cornhole America has helped raise close to a million dollars for non-profit over the last 8-9 years.
4. Where is Cornhole America located?
We have been based in the West Michigan area, and after several moves into larger buildings, we have settled into a perfect building in Cedar Springs, MI.
5. Can I return my bags or boards?
After 30 days, all sales are final.
Orders/Items can be returned for exchanges only within 30 days of purchase. If an exchange is made, the customer is responsible for both the return shipping of the original product and shipping charges for the new product to be shipped.
Damaged Packages
Occasionally packages are damaged in transit and must be replaced. We must be notified of a damaged package within 5 business days of receiving the package. We will handle the pickup of the damaged package and ship a replacement product.
Cornhole Bag Replacement Policy
All of our cornhole bags are guaranteed for 30 days after date of purchase. If you should have a bag break, just return the empty cornhole bag (without corn) that was defective and we will ship you a new one within 1 week of receiving it. 6. How long will it take for my cornhole order to arrive?
The time it takes for us to get you your boards varies. All of our boards are pre-built and in inventory, however there are still several steps that need to take place to complete each set. We ship your boards in the order that we received your request. For more information, see our shipping policy.
7. Can I get my cornhole order rush shipped?
Unfortunately, we cannot rush ship orders. We have selected a Fed Ex Ground shipping that we felt offered our customers the best, least costly shipping for their product. Airfreight of packages with these dimensions and weight are very cost prohibitive.
8. What are the shipping costs for the cornhole board sets?
To make it easy for our customers to calculate their total price, we have a fixed-shipping cost based on your location. Shipping is calculated at checkout and typically ranges between $40-$80. We ship from Cedar Springs, Michigan, so going to the West Coast is a little more expensive.
9. Do you ship internationally?
We can, but keep in mind that shipping a 2' by 4' box overseas can by quite costly. But we will work with you as much as possible to save you money.
10. What are the dimensions of a cornhole board?
We manufacture only American Cornhole Association approved equipment. Boards are 4 feet in length, 2 feet in width and 1 foot high at the highest point. The hole is 6 inches in diameter.
11. What type of wood is used for the cornhole boards?
We offer 2 different boards. The first, our Premium Tailgate board has a solid pine frame and legs. The surface is 5/8" Baltic Birch
Our second board is our Pro series board. This is constructed of 18mm Baltic Birch. The frame has 2 cross braces underneath for extra support.
12. Do the legs fold out?
Yes, our legs are attached with 5/16" Carriage bolts so the legs and rotate in and out for easier storage.
13. Are your cornhole boards slippery?
Yes. The ACA specifies a "high gloss" finish for regulation cornhole boards. We apply a 3 mil Laminated finish to protect the artwork and to create a perfect playable surface. It typically takes a few games to "break in" the new boards and bags.
14. How much do boards weigh?
They are about 25 pounds per board, 50 lbs for a pair. With the weight of the eight cornhole bags, the total set weighs around 58 pounds.
15. Can you put two different boards together?
Yes we can! Just let us know the specific board designs you would like to put together, and we will create a custom link for you to finalize your order.
16. Can I add any customization to designs you already have created?
This is our favorite part of building these games. All of our designs are essentially templates and we can manipulate the designs to customize them to our customers wishes. Add you favorite sports team, text, photo, or images, the sky is the limit.
17. I want to customize the boards with my company logo; can I see the design before I make payment?
Yes. Please just send your logo in an EPS, AI, or vector file to info@cornholeamerica with the design details, we will send you a mockup shortly. We do not charge for graphics design work, it is our mission to make sure we come up with a design that fits your needs and makes you happy.
18. What are the specs on the carrying cases?
The carrying cases are made to fit our boards, so we cannot guarantee it will fit boards not purchased from Cornhole America. Our carrying cases are currently 48" x 25" which holds our standard boards and bags. If you have created a board set on your own make sure that it is within those dimensions as the material does not give much leeway.
19. Are your credit card transactions safe?
